Payment & Insurance
I accept payment by credit card before or at time of service for private pay clients. Currently my sliding scale spots are full. However, if your plan covers out-of-network mental health services, I can provide you with a monthly billing statement known as a “superbill” to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. If you’re not sure your insurance covers out-of-network providers, please give them a call. Here are some questions that may be helpful to ask: Out-of-Network-FAQs
Individual Therapy
The standard cost for a 53-minute individual therapy session is $185. Please inquire about private pay rates. Topics include, but are not limited to: belonging, anxiety, identity development, depression, relationship struggles, and joy. Sessions are currently being offered via telehealth (multiple days) and in-person (Thursdays only).
Parent Consultation & Family Therapy
The standard cost for a 50-minute parent consultation is $205 and a 50-minute family therapy session is $190. Please inquire about private pay rates. Consultations are currently being offered primarily via telehealth, but in-person options can be explored.
Good Faith Estimates
Beginning January 1, 2022, all health care providers will be required by law to give uninsured and self-pay patients a good faith estimate of costs for services that they offer, when scheduling care or when the patient requests an estimate. You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost, prior to beginning care.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
